Colorado Hardscapes served as the general contractor for this project, with the aquatic work performed by the team now operating as Colorado Aquatics. The team renovated the Pioneer Park splash pad in Commerce City, working with Counsilman-Hunsaker on aquatics design and Landwise on landscaping repairs.

The work included removing the existing splash pad and mechanical vault, installing upgraded mechanical and plumbing systems, and building a new 2,642-square-foot colored Sandscape® splash pad. New spray features provide interactive, accessible play for children of all ages. The renovated splash pad reopened over Memorial Day weekend 2025.
